We welcome beginners in all our classes but traditional Mat Pilates classes are slightly better suited to beginners than POP HIIT Pilates as the pace of the class is a bit slower.

But please don’t let that put you off booking into POP HIIT Pilates it is still a great class for newbies and fitness enthusiasts alike.

If you’re pregnant you can typically continue exercising at the same level of intensity you were used to pre-pregnancy. However, as a general rule it is not encouraged to increase the intensity of your exercise once you are pregnant.

We don’t currently offer specific pre/ postnatal pilates classes, so you need to know the modifications required for each stage of pregnancy. If you’d like to discuss what those are; reach out to our studio owner Rhi who is pre and post-natal trained on rhian@strongandbendy.co.uk

PLEASE NOTE: the above applies to mat pilates only. Our reformer classes are not suitable if you are pregnant.

Depending on the injury it’s very likely we can accommodate you. Teachers will always ask at the beginning of class so they can offer modifications. If you’d like to ask any questions before you attend a class you can email rhian@strongandbendy.co.uk
